Justin Bieber fans have reportedly caused a disturbance in Norway.

The situation is so severe that police in Oslo are considering declaring a state of emergency, TMZ claims.

Tens of thousands of Bieber devotees have reportedly gathered outside the opera house to see the 'Boyfriend' singer perform six songs for his TV special Around The World.

However, the police have allegedly lost control of the crowds because of the huge numbers that have arrived. They are now thought to be asking Bieber - who is reportedly being kept in a secret location - to perform early to calm the situation.

Writing on his Twitter page, Bieber urged fans to be careful, saying: "For the show to happen u must all listen to the police. we are all concerned for your safety and i want what is best for you.

"Please listen and tonight we will have some fun. love you and im excited to see you all. NORWAY... THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME!"
