The 19-year-old ranted at his family and entourage, while fans waited two hours for his show to start at the O2 Arena, insiders alleged to The Sun.
Sources have claimed that Bieber was late because he got up late and then played computer games for hours. He is also alleged to have shunned a 15-year-old competition winner, spending just less than ten seconds in her company.
Parents of young fans were left angry on Monday (March 4) after Bieber arrived on stage at 10.20pm, but many had left early to catch the last trains home.
One insider claimed: "He was arguing with members of his management, his family. It was a really uncomfortable atmosphere. His attitude was, 'I'm the star and I can do what I want'."
Another worker at the venue said: "I hope I never have to experience so many upset children and disappointed fans again. I'd love to know why Bieber felt it was alright to leave 20,000 people waiting for two hours."
One fan's mother claimed that staff informed her that Bieber had been arguing backstage.
She said: "We were told he was kicking up a real fuss. He was saying, 'It's my show, I'll go out when I want to'."
A further source alleged: "His lateness was because he didn't get out of bed until late and sat in his dressing room playing games - even though his door was being knocked. He then threw a strop as he said he wanted a shower first, despite already being late.
"Justin arrived at the O2 at 3pm to do some meet and greets, but he didn't get up until late because he'd had a heavy night at his hotel. Justin's really been going off the rails in recent months. He's bound to be pulled in for crisis talks."
Bieber blamed "technical issues" over his late show when apologizing to fans on Tuesday (March 5).
The singer will also incur a £300,000 ($453,398) fine from Greenwich Council, due to his show on Monday running past an 11pm noise curfew.
