The launch trailer features an array of in-game action, demonstrating the smash-mouth, stunt-based gameplay.
The video showcases the game's racing modes, destruction gameplay, freestyle events and multiplayer party games.
The action comes from locations such as Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Yokohama.
Earlier this month it was revealed that DiRT Showdown players have driven far enough to travel around the world 100 times, and consumed enough oil to make five return trips to the moon.
It has since been revealed that three million cars have been destroyed in crashes and that racers have boosted for 2,000 days.
The stats were taken from the recently-released demo and gathered by the game's RaceNet stat-tracker.
DiRT Showdown will be the first title in the Codemasters Racing label, which covers the DiRT, GRID and Formula One franchises.
The spinoff racer will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC from May 25 in the UK and May 29 across North America.
