The latest trailer is the first episode in a 'Guide to Survival' video series highlighting how Lara Croft uses resourcefulness to survive during the game.
The first episode displays how Lara can earn experience points through exploration and combat to unlock new skills and upgrade her abilities.
She can also upgrade equipment through salvaged materials, which opens new ways for her to use them. For example, upgrading the climbing axe strengthens it to pull levers and can allow it to be used as a zipline.
Tomb Raider is a reboot of the classic series, where Lara Croft finds herself shipwrecked on a hostile island in a story that shapes her into the heroine seen in the original games.

Scribe Rhianna Pratchett is the lead writer on the game, saying she wants to bring a "depth and credibility to Lara".
The game will also have timed DLC that will take place after the events of the main campaign.
Tomb Raider will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC worldwide from March 5, 2013.
