The upcoming reboot will feature a team deathmatch mode pitting Lara's shipmates against the island's scavengers, as well as 'Rescue' mode in which one team must deliver medical supplies while opposing players make kills.

Maps will contain destructible elements, booby traps and climbable surfaces. There is said to be a deep roster of characters, melee and projectile weapons, as well as a wide variety of stats and loadouts.
The news comes after retailer GAME temporarily listed a "variety of multiplayer modes" in the game's product description.
Tomb Raider is a reboot of the classic series, where Lara Croft finds herself shipwrecked on a hostile island in a story that shapes her into the heroine seen in the original games.
Developer Crystal Dynamics confirmed earlier this year that the Tomb Raider reboot is not just a single game, hinting at future titles in the series.
Scribe Rhianna Pratchett, the lead writer on the game, has said she wants to bring a "depth and credibility to Lara".
The game will also have timed DLC that will be set after the events of the main campaign.
Tomb Raider will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC worldwide from March 5, 2013.
