Lily Collins is considering the starring role in Rosaline.
The actress is in talks for the Romeo and Juliet retelling, reports Variety.
The movie will be based on Rebecca Serle's debut novel When You Were Mine, which focuses on Romeo's spurned love in a modern-day setting, and is due to debut later this year.
Rose's (Collins) romance with handsome Rob is dashed apart upon the return of her cousin Juliet to town.
Formerly Rose's best friend, Juliet is now hostile, hateful and rumored to have suicidal tendencies.
