'Metegol' Argentinian foosball animation debuts trailer - watch

Metegol has released a teaser trailer.

The animated Argentinian movie is based on the game foosball.



The film sees table football players brought to life to help protagonist Amadeo save his love Laura.

Director Juan José Campanella is best known for his work on the Oscar-winning film The Secret in Their Eyes.

He also served as one of the co-writers on the movie, which is based on Roberto Fontanarrosa's Memoirs of a Right Winger.

Metegol will debut in Argentina on June 20. It is yet to be confirmed for an English language release.
