Jada Pinkett Smith has spoken of her pride at watching young daughter Willow Smith "tearing up the stage" during her recent support slot for Justin Bieber.
The 10-year-old 'Whip My Hair' star, whose father is Will Smith, joined Bieber for the UK leg of his world tour earlier this year.
"It was amazing watching her in front of 20,000 screaming fans and just totally taking over the crowd," Pinkett Smith told Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on his KIIS-FM radio show this morning.
The Hawthorne actress also shared what advice she offered Willow before the three-week trip began, telling Seacrest that her main concern was ensuring Willow felt comfortable.
Pinkett Smith explained: "I said, 'This is a try-out. Let's see how you feel about this and if you love it'. I knew she would but I said, 'Any minute you decide this isn't for you we are going home'. I think for her that relaxed everything. She got out there and she had a blast - she tore it up."
Willow, who was also joined by brother Jaden Smith on the tour, previously described the experience of playing in front of thousands of fans as "a dream come true".
Among the cities that Willow played in England was Manchester, where her brother Jaden and Bieber pranked her during her performance of 'Whip My Hair' by briefly running on to the stage and joining her back-up dancers.
Bieber wrote on Twitter: "Pranked Willow during WhipMyHair and then got crazy during the show (sic). Loved the energy. just got back to the hotel and still Hyped."
Willow's second single, '21st Century Girl', was released in March.
