Adele to make first post-baby appearance at Golden Globes

Adele is to make her first public appearance since having a baby at this year's Golden Globe Awards.

The award ceremony's executive producer has confirmed that the British singer will attend the event on Sunday (January 13), according to The Associated Press.

Adele is nominated for 'Best Original Song' at the awards for her James Bond theme 'Skyfall'.

The track faces competition from Taylor Swift's 'Safe and Sound' from The Hunger Games, Jon Bon Jovi's song from Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban's 'For You' from Act of Valor and 'Suddenly' performed by Hugh Jackman in Les Misérables.

The 24-year-old welcomed her first child with partner Simon Konecki in October, but has kept a low profile over the past year.

Adele has been rumored to have started writing songs for her third studio album and follow-up to 21.

She was previously reported to be planning her first public performance since her birth at this year's Academy Awards.

The 2013 Golden Globes will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and will be broadcast live on Sunday at 5pm PT/8pm ET on NBC.
