Portishead's Geoff Barrow has accused Mark Ronson of ruining music with his remixing.
The multi-instrumentalist Barrow attacked the Version musician during a rant on his MySpace blog.
Barrow wrote: "I think it takes amazing talent to turn decent songs into s**t funky supermarket muzak.
"I've also heard he's remixing Dylan...some music industry tit thinks it needs remixing. You would think he would have the respect to say no to the job, obviously not."
Ronson has worked with the likes of Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, re-working tracks by the Kaiser Chiefs and The Zutons.
The Portishead star also revealed that his band are due to head back in the studio to finish mixing their album next week.
