After being closed in 2009 and 2010, the school reopened last year when 7-year-old Zhang Siqi needed to attend.

Siqi, born with a missing spinal disc, needs family care and the village school is her best option as it is close to her house.
The school's one remaining teacher, Zhang Wanjia, follows the national curriculum, jogs outside with Siqi, and once a week they hold a national flag-raising day where Siqi sings the national anthem.
Wanjia, who has been teaching for 35 years, said: "When I am alone in the office, I don't have a person to chat with."
However, Siqi won't be the only student for much longer as next year the village will have four new pupils.
