Gordon Ramsay's 'MasterChef' renewed for third season by Fox

Gordon Ramsay's amateur cooking competition MasterChef has been renewed for a third season by Fox.

Chef Ramsay will return alongside his fellow judges, restaurateur Joe Bastianich and chef Graham Elliot, it was announced by the network today.

MasterChef will kick off its new season of open casting calls in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 29. Further calls will be held in Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, Austin, Savannah, Chicago, Seattle, New York and San Francisco.

MasterChef wrapped its second season back in August, with real estate agent Jennifer Behm being crowned the winner over server Adrien Nieto in the final cook-off.

Behm later told Digital Spy that she would use some of her $250,000 prize to expand her catering company Pink Martini and was also hoping to meet with networks about a possible cooking show.

"I want to see if I can parlay everything into making people really enjoy food again and make them excited about food," she said.
