In the last episode of the show, Bonnie began to have nightmares about the coffins storing Klaus's relatives, which were recently stolen by Stefan (Paul Wesley).
Graham has now told TV Line that Bonnie will try to interpret the dreams.
"If she feels like anything is going to benefit everyone in the town or benefit Elena and their lives, she's going to do it," she said. "When she realizes what they mean, she is going to try to go after it and solve the mystery."
However, Graham confirmed that this means facing Klaus (Joseph Morgan), saying: "You are going to see more scenes of Klaus and Bonnie, and her having to deal with him, but it might not be in the way you'd expect.
"Her motive is to try to get him killed. If she is in normal Bonnie mode, then she should be OK. If she's weakened by anything or in any way, it could make for crazy, crazy times for Bonnie."
Graham also revealed that Bonnie and Stefan will be spending more time together, adding that she thinks their dynamic is "really cool".
"She knows he's just been off the deep end, so she's going to be a little trepid with anything he presents to her," she teased. "She's going to want to really look into it for herself before she commits to anything."
Graham recently said that she is excited about an upcoming storyline featuring Bonnie's mother, who will be played by Persia White.
