'Bachelor' Desiree Hartsock unsure about 'Bachelorette' role

By
The Bachelor star Desiree Hartsock has admitted that she isn't sure whether she'd like to appear on the next season of The Bachelorette.

The fan favorite - who was sent home by Bachelor Sean Lowe after the hometown dates - explained that she can see both the positive and negative sides about being on the ABC show.

"It is fun and you learn a lot about yourself, but it is physically and emotionally draining," she told People. "You have to be on all the time.

"But I do believe in the experience and I do think you can find The One through the show. I know first hand that the feelings are real. I fell for Sean and could see a future with him."

The idea that Hartsock could be the next Bachelorette was also supported by Lowe, who admitted in his blog for People that she will "always have a place in [his] heart".

"I know Des has moved on, and I'm hoping she gets a second chance at love - maybe on the next season of The Bachelorette?" he said. "She would definitely get my vote."

Hartsock's fellow Bachelor contestant Sarah Herron has previously expressed an interest in starring in The Bachelorette, saying: "I'm still single and still want to find love and a husband."

The Bachelor's finale - in which Lowe will choose between Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter - will air on Monday (March 11) on ABC.
